Message from the Alumni Director

Spring is always a busy season for the Office of Alumni Relations. We just concluded two great panels on “When Women Lead” and “Entrepreneurship” whose videos you can watch on our YouTube channel. We held alumni happy hours in Union and in Philly during American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA)’s Centennial Conference. Next up we have Cougars That Care day of service, Distinguished Alumni Awards, the wrap-up of our Union and Ocean mentoring programs, our Student Leaders Dinner, a networking night at Kean Ocean, and last but not least our annual 50+ Reunion. We want your input on future events! Vote now for the summer event and for the theme for Homecoming 2017.

Kean 2017 Kean Research Day
 April 25 and 26
9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
STEM Building

This is the day when we celebrate student–faculty research and creativity outside of the classroom. Our students are presenting projects in art, music, design, architecture and the sciences. We showcase the magic that happens when students challenge the status quo in their fields, often leading to surprising results, guided by dedicated mentors. Our keynote speaker, Twitter’s Hannah Donovan (presenting on April 25), is a product and design leader and entrepreneur based in Brooklyn. Hannah has dedicated her career to creating platforms for self-expression.
