Message from the Alumni Director

The Kean Alumni Association launched a successful mentoring pilot program last spring that paired up 21 students and alumni mentors for the semester to work on career readiness.  This fall, the program is expanding and we are looking to have at least 50 pairs participate, with both with senior students and recent alumni receiving mentoring.  We are looking for additional mentors!  The time commitment is at least one meeting with your mentee each month and at least one day of job shadowing, if allowed by your company.  If you’re interested, let us know at!

The Kean Alumni Association honored her on August 2nd as a member of the Newark Normal School Class of 1923, at a gathering at the nursing home in which she resides.
