This month has been an exciting time in the office. We are gearing up for the Distinguished Alumni Awards on April 8. This year’s honorees are Mark Cheng ’05 MS, Michele Centeno ’91, Dr. Jim Drylie ’80, and Tom J. O’Donnell, ’72 ’76 MA, all of whom have demonstrated a strong worth ethic, a commitment to their careers and their communities and a diversity of thought.

Then join us on April 10 for our resecheduled Kean Connect Panel on How to Make a Career Change.

María Vargas-Pion '10 was honored on February 23 in New York City as the Reporter of the Year at the 2018 Latino Awards ceremony. The four-time Emmy Award nominated bilingual journalist is a news reporter at Univisión New York, Channel 41. She is also a national spokeswoman
for the American Heart Association.

Kean University, Asbury Park School District, and Lee & Low Books invite online submissions of proposals for the Second Annual Educational Thought Leaders Conference, Equity and Excellence in Education, on Thursday, May 24. Deadline to submit a proposal is Friday, March 16.
