Message from the Alumni Director

As we celebrate Thanksgiving, we are thankful for all of our dedicated and involved Kean alumni. Whether you sit on a board or committee, spoke on campus to our students, or have given to the Annual Fund – your contributions continue to help Kean and its students grow. Thank you for being an active participant in the University.

Each year on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving millions of dollars are raised for Giving Tuesday.  On November 28 Kean University Foundation will be participating in Giving Tuesday.  My hope is to raise $5,000 to support the Kean University Relief Fund, formally named the Sandy Fund.  During this 24-hour giving campaign I am asking you to make a gift to the fund that can assist alumni, students, faculty and staff at Kean who may need aid after a disaster.  To find out more about the fund, you can visit

Thank you for all your support during this campaign.

I’m opening my own dojo soon, I have my own martial arts supply company, and I work here as a study abroad coordinator. I’m doing everything I love to do now, and my study abroad experience was a huge part of that.”
