Message from the Alumni Director

The Alumni Association has taken many steps this year in providing alumni assistance to our students through seminars, networking events, and mentoring. We currently have over 40 pairs of mentors and mentees working together. On November 3 we have over 100 students attending a networking night featuring prominent alumni. For our next program, we aim to create a “Take a Cougar to Work” day during winter break where students can shadow you for a full- or half- day at your place of employment. But we will need your help to place students. If you’re interested please let us know at

Tony winners Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty have lovingly brought to life all of our favorite Dr. Seuss characters, including Horton the Elephant, The Cat in the Hat, Gertrude McFuzz, lazy Mayzie, and a little boy with a big imagination--Jojo. The colorful characters transport us from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus to the invisible world of the Whos
