Be the Change NJ, a Kean University student group, is helping a local man whose bomb find saved lives in Elizabeth. Lee Parker saw something amiss in an Elizabeth trash can, a backpack containing a suspicious package later found to be a bomb. So he said something to local authorities, likely averting a tragedy. Since his good deed, Be the Change NJ, which is part of Kean University, has provided Parker with an efficiency at a local hotel, clothes and food.

You feel the rhythm, hear the songs, smell the wine and see the beauty of a distant culture encouraging you to join in. The art of flamenco explodes onstage and audience shouts of “Olé!” become part of the experience, part of the passion of flamenco.

Cougar Color Run

Show your Cougar Spirit by participating in the Nathan Weiss Memorial Cougar Color 5K Run and Walk. Before October 10, individual alumni can register for $30 each. All proceeds go to student scholarships and awards

Premiere Stages is now accepting submissions for the Bauer-Boucher Kean Student/Alumni Reading Series. The Bauer-Boucher Kean Student/Alumni Reading showcases the work of gifted Kean University students/alumni playwrights and provides them with a financial award.
